FROM OUR FAQ : What about the DL-50R model, is this a newer or different model?

NO , There is technically no such thing as a DL-50R , Its just a letter added on by some sellers to make the name sound more like the DA-50R.  The DL50 is the DL50 , there is an earlier version with cast engine mounts. And a newer version supplied with machined standoffs from the factory instead, and thicker mounting lugs. The new version also has the Walbro pump tube tapped into the reed block instead of the crankcase.

What About pitt's style or canister type mufflers, what can I use?

Any muffler designed for a DA50 will bolt directly onto the DL without modification.
